Tika Project/Types of Students

For Manaiakalani , Me and Christian worked together on our Tika Project. It's about different types of students at school. 

Writing Work - 03/08/18

Today we had to assemble around 1 table  . We had to create a google drawing and write down different imperative verbs. When finished , we had to create a word find with our key words/verbs. Here's a peek of my learning for 2day.

How Much Sugar/Suka are you drinking ?

Today we had to assemble into 6 groups of 4. We had to predict how much teaspoons there is in 4 different drinks. For materials we had , 8 zip lock bags , 2 teaspoons , a bowl of sugar ,and piece of paper. My group was me , Christian , Quinton , Leeroy and here's a photo of our Sugar/Suka presentation .

Writing is gold with Mrs Wrack

Last week Mrs Wrack took our lesson for writing. We had to create a poem about ourselves being in the war. We had to use our senses and describe our we felt during war. 

Anzac Work

Week 2 we had to create a diamante poem about ANZAC. We had to have a bunch of verbs , adjectives and nouns. Here is a photo of the poem I created. 

Mr H Homework

This week Room 13 had homework to do from Mr Herlihy . We had to create a google drawing and find out more about Bernard Freyberg who was a remembered as a brave soldier , and also the Donkey of Gallipoli who saved a couple of soldiers during war.

What might happen on Friday

My predictions are : 

1st . We might have a principle's assembly in the morning.

2nd. Fun Games until morning tea.

3rd. Continue Games for the whole day.

4th. DJ Vino with the jams.

5th. No learning.

6th. Wet activities. 

7th. Lunch time.

8th. Relays and Tug of War.

9th. Teachers vs Seniors

10th HOME TIME !!

That is my prediction for what is gonna happen on Friday.

Family Fun Day

Saturday 24th Feb was Glen Taylor School's Family fun day. It was a chance for our Teachers to meet our lovely Parents and also , for our school to have an wonderful day . There were fun activities for us to enjoy and our swimming was open and free for our students to stay cool and have a little swim . The activity i enjoyed the most was playing Tag [Ripper Rugby] with the Marist club on the field.

Talofa lava my name is TJ and I am a year 8 student attending Glen Taylor School. I enjoy playing sport but mostly rugby and touch. I enjoy maths , learning new things and my objective of the day is to finish my work on time. My goal for this year is to be above the standard in all learning areas aiming to have a good report at the end of the year. I also want to work my hardest for the end of year prize giving and hopefully collect awards as well.
